(Tupelo, MS) The Mississippi MudCats of the American Indoor Football Association
will be back in action this Saturday night the 3rd at the Bancorp South Arena, when
they host the Florence Phantoms from Florence, SC.

“We’re anxious to see who shows up on their roster,” said Head Coach Brian Brents, adding that “we’ve heard that they have picked up a few players from some other teams and if this is so, with their combined efforts, this could be one of the best teams that we’ve face all year.” Coach Brents also added, “We’re just keeping our focus, having good practices and going to take care of business, just like we’ve been doing.”

The Mississippi MudCats are undefeated for the 2008 season and have proven that their team can work together on offense and defense to get the job done. They have also produced several AIFA leaders, with players like Tommy Jones, Darryl Carter and Trey Crum setting league records for the AIFA.

The MudCats are offering special ticket prices of $5.00 each for select seating in conjunction with Blue Suede Cruise for the May 3rd game. The MudCats Dancers
will be available at Blue Suede Cruise on Friday night and Saturday morning selling tickets. The special priced tickets will also be available at the arena box office, 662.841.6528.

The doors open to the arena at 6PM with the pre game activities beginning at 6:30PM.
