(Tupelo, MS) The Mississippi MudCats of the American Indoor Football Association announce plans to host open player tryouts at Millsaps College Football Stadium in Jackson on Saturday, January 19th at 11AM. All athletes
must be 18 years old and are required to provide proof of insurance or sign a waiver of release and pay $50 cash only registration fee. Athletes are required to bring cleats or sneakers and dress in workout gear, pads should not be worn. The MudCat coaching staff will administer various timing and position drills and the event is open to the public.

“We are very excited about the upcoming season and we are still looking for some good local talent. I have coached in Texas and Florida and can honestly say that the Mississippi and Alabama area has some of the best talent around, and we are looking for that next local product that will represent our franchise here in Tupelo,” said Head Coach Brian Brents.
