William McCarthy is the latest addition to the Mississippi Mudcats coaching staff. William is a native of Kentucky and played football at Morehead State University. This will be coach McCarthy's first year of working in arena football. Having previously served as an Offensive Coordinator, a Defensive Coordinator, and Special Teams coordinator; coach
McCarthy brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge from his previous coaching stints. Coach McCarthy has coached at the high school level and nationally ranked Junior Colleges. Coach McCarthy has not only turned out Division 1 athletes at several stops, but also coached an NJCAA All-American.
